Guest Lecture by Dr Niteesh Kumar Upadhyay (Symbiosis International University, India)Dr. Niteesh Kumar
Upadhyay is an Associate Professor of Law at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, and a Visiting Faculty at Management and Science University, Malaysia, and Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. Dr. Niteesh also serves as a guest faculty member at the Romanian American University, Romania, and an international research fellow at the University of Milan, Italy.
Dr. Niteesh completed his doctorate and post post-graduate studies at the WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. His numerous works have also been published in various journals, and he has 35+ publications.
He has received various scholarships and grants, including GAJE Turkey, ILEC New York, HAGUE Academy Netherlands, Gaje Mexico, Gaje Indonesia, Xiamen China, René Cassin France, Pro Bono Hong Kong, CALR Tashkent etc. He has also delivered lectures on various institutions of international repute, including Regensburg University in Germany, Xiamen University in China, Daffodil University in Bangladesh American University in Romania, etc.
His areas of interest are human rights, IHL, refugee law, cyber law, and technology law.
He was recently appointed as a member of the Academic Friends Network of the United Nations Human Rights Council Advisory Committee.
